In this episode: - Both teams take on the Cerulean City gym, earning themselves the Cascade Badge and a brand new, shiny TM. - We leave and head off to Vermilion City. - On arrival, Kristen visits the Pokemon Center and receives the VS. Seeker from the girl on the left as soon as you enter the Pokemon Center. - Both Pokemon Trainers "in the making" visit the Pokemon Trainer club and talk to the chairman. We listen to him ramble on about his favorite pokemon: Rapidash. All is not lost, though, as we get a Bike Voucher for listening to his yapping. Now we do not have to pay the small fee of 1,000,000 Pokedollars for a bike! - We enter Diglett's cave, running into various Digletts. - Kristen goes through the entire Diglett's cave and ends up on Route 2 just to show the audience that you can make a trade. That trade is an Abra for a Mr. Mime. If you go down [and have HM01 - Cut - Which is gotten from the captain on SS Anne], you can get HM05 - Flash from Professor Oak's assistant. - Just as the episode is about to end, Kristen predicts that she is going to find a Dugtrio -- and she is right, she DOES find one. - While Kristen weakens the Dugtrio, Geer browses the "Help" section of the game. - Kristen catches the Dugtrio, and has Geer read the Pokedex entry as a special commemoration. - Kristen names Dugtrio "Martha." - Kristen gets defeated and gets kicked out of Diglett's cave at the end of the episode.
