Descripción de 2011 Scion XB Release series 8.0:
This is my prius replacement. Hopefully no one will have out of control Xb's running down the road, and I need to make another video of how you should learn to drive or take the fucking bus! Above the standard issued items on the Xb it comes with a Voodoo blue color, a sunroof, RS 8.0 floor mats, and a badge that tells you the number of the limited edition. This is 1272 of 2000. Story is Scion will not make it to 2000 since the plant in Japan is still closed from the Earthquake a few months ago. I like the ride, but there are some issues, but hey, for $20k, you can get far worse like a Kia or something. There are tons of aftermarket items for these scions to make them your own. It has a 2.4 liter 4 cylinder engine, a 4 speed auto transmission (where the hell is the 5 speed auto Toyota?) and goes 0-60 in about 8.5 seconds. Gas mpg is 22 city and 28 highway. So far I am seeing 25mpg. Interior room is generous, but the seats definitely do not have a lot of support. No lumbar support, and only manual up down and forward and back. For $20,000 you cant expect 14 way adjustable recaros, but I definitely think in 2011 we can have more comfort. Standard Pioneer stereo sucks ass, you can upgrade to their alpines and scion navi unit, but they run between $500-$2000! You can get a sweet Kenwood Navi unit for around $850 from crutchfield. Which is what I intend to do in the next few months. So far, being only 24 hours old, it is what it is for my budget. I got 4.95% financing for 72 months and I have a $349 payment, I also put $1200 down and the trade was a wash, I had almost 40,000 miles on a 2010 prius. I got $20k for it and owed $20k on it. I had it for 18 months. Things I would like to see done on here are these: Controls need to be lit up, like the window controls, and the dash buttons on the left of the steering wheel, dash lights should be blue instead of the ugly orange. Seats need much more comfort, especially add a lumbar support. Get rid of plastic wheel covers, the scion Tc, with a better motor, comes with standard aluminum wheels, this should too, especially for the RS series. And the Tc is the same price, under $20k. Scion also is offering 2 years or 24,000 miles of service, which they make it sound like a super deal, but all it is, is oil changes. I do my own, so they are throwing in overpriced dealer oil changes for 4 changes, they want you to drive 5000 miles per oil change, so you only get 4 and are 1000 miles away from another, pretty shitty if you ask me, but better than nothing I guess. If you have any questions, I will try and answer them. Just ask.
