This is one of Erin's sales that came in yesterday. She's gorgeous! But Before you all jump to conclusions about ANYTHING. Let me explain. Reasons For Badness: 1. Ebby just came in like, 2 days ago. She's settling in and getting used to her new surroundings i guess. She hadn't left her previous barn for TWO YEARS. So she gets a little flustered. 2. She is a dressage horse. and has not jumped, like. EVER. This, i guess, was one of her 1st times actually jumping around doing lines and coops. Thats why she overjumps everything insanely large [haha] when its barely one foot. Also an explanation to why my equitation SUCKS on her. FAILLL on that one time in the beginning... I got a bump on my head from that XD but i was okay.. and i was LAUGHING. so it's all good. She was trained dressage, and only dressage. Ok? Ok. 3. I do not click with mares. I am a gelding person. I hate that pissy, bitchy, "nahh i'll pass and pin my ears" attitude that they sometimes throw out there. Pisses. Me. Off. So, sorry if i look uncomfortable. But luckily she's not pissy. :P So yeah! She's like on trial for Erin and I think I like her... It's just we have to see if she settles in a bit to the 'hunter' life, and catches on to jumping. Then we can see if we can move forward with maybe a lease? :) She in no way will ever replace Chico. And PLEASE don't think I'm totally selfish for trying another horse just a day after Chico's departure. I have truly considered not continuing riding because of it. But everyone has encouraged me to keep going, that it would be a total waste of talent if i didn't blah blah blah. So yeah... I guess i'll keep at it. But i swear, one more horse-loss.... Yep!
