**ATTENTION** lol pleease read :) Fences are small as I've only had her literally weeks, third show, won the 80cm and had a pole in the 2nd round of the 90cm. I am pleased, overall im more confident on her and am finding better strides usually. One BIG problem for me today was those two 6 stride related distances, I was holding holding holding trying to get her to go on a nice 6 strides but a few times little miss braveheart decided NAHH we are going on 5 Lauren lol! I am finding her a tad strong and this was after a 30/40 minute warm up. Decided I might change her jumping bit for a few weeks just til we get sorted and she comes back to me a bit. Might try a waterford snaffle as a temp thing, as she does take hold of the bit and run on ALOT so this would help, I've emailed a bit pro lady for advice to see what she would suggest for long term as I don't want a big horrible strong bit in her ever, also gona work on grids and poles etc. at home to help too :) But yeh was hoping to not have to change bits, but I think its better for the time being instead of me having to constantly half halt and be ragging at her wee mouth(which I hateee) a slightly different bit just might mean she listens more readily :) And I can concentrate on my rounds and not having to steady my little racer up :P Hopefully will get out to a show next weekend :) & do another 80 & 90cm set of classes, getting the basics sorted before I move up!!
